ROB ZOMBIE Drummer To Play With TESTAMENT On West Coast Tour

December 12, 2002

ROB ZOMBIE drummer Johnny Tempesta has been tapped by TESTAMENT to fill in for the group's upcoming West Coast mini-tour after regular drummer Jon Allen (SADUS) was forced to bow out of the trek due to an undisclosed "family emergency." Tempesta will reportedly begin rehearsing with the group on Monday, Dec. 16 — less than two weeks prior to the tour's scheduled kick-off show in Portland, Oregon.

Confirmed dates are as follows (w/ VIO-LENCE, EXHUMED):

Dec. 27 - Portland, OR @ Roseland Theater
Dec. 28 - Orangevale, CA @ The Boardwalk
Dec. 29 - Las Vegas, NV @ The House Of Blues (w/ HALFORD)
Dec. 30 - Phoenix, AZ @ The Mason Jar
Dec. 31 - San Diego, CA @ Canes Bar & Grill (w/ HALFORD)
Jan. 02 - Anaheim, CA @ The House Of Blues (w/ HALFORD)

Tempesta is no stranger to the TESTAMENT camp, having performed on and toured with the group in support of their acclaimed 1994 release "Low". A former member of EXODUS and WHITE ZOMBIE, Johnny can also be heard on TESTAMENT's collection of reworked early compositions, "First Strike Still Deadly", which was released through Spitfire Records last year.
